Newly Refreshed and Re-Released... BR&P Ashford Tower is now available.
BR&P Ashford Tower is a plastic-injection molded structure kit.
This structure kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the acquisition of the Railway Design Associates structure kit business.
The BR&P Ashford Tower represents the prototype structure built in 1914 by the Buffalo, Rochester, and Pittsburgh Railway; it was a major switching station in western New York. It has a distinctive Spanish Mission style roof and unique exterior concrete architecture – all captured in fine detail in this scale model. It can represent the prototype structure on your layout or fill in for any typical interlocking tower, typical of many big railroads throughout the U.S. The kit includes all components to build up the structure – walls, base, roof assembly, staircase assembly, acetate glazing for the windows – and includes a set of details to add to this scene or another on your layout. Also includes a set of refreshed assembly instructions.
The sample model shown was masterfully built by Leon Durham.
Footprint: 4.5” x 3.0”
NOTE: Figures, vehicles, ground scenery, railroad track, and general diorama construction materials shown in model photos are not included in the kit. Pictures shown are of the pilot model construction; production models might vary slightly.
