These laser-cut simulated Asbestos Siding Boards come two (2) sheets to a package. They are intended to be used for wall covering material - and apply in a similar manner as roofing shingles - row by row with a slight overlap.
If you select the adhesive backing, the strips are permanent self-adhesive - just peel and stick.
After application to a wall, they may be painted with spray or acrylic paints - but with light application to avoid over-saturation and warping. Add a little weathering with dry-brushing.
NOTE: The package contains sheets of laser-cut strips that need to be layered up - similar to real shingles. These are not pre-layered sheets.
Siding strips are laser-cut from a heavy wood fiber content paper and resemble the asbestos material.
Each package contains two (2) sheets that measure 4" wide by 5.5" long - approximately 44 square inches of material. With a 25-30% overlap, the two (2) sheets cover approximately 32 square inches of wall area.
These Asbestos Siding Boards were common in the 1950's thru 1970's, and will give your model structure a unique look.
