Most structure kits are kept in inventory, but most laser-cut detail products are produced-to-order.
Most orders will ship within 1 week, depending on current workload.
Please allow maximum of 2 weeks from order date to ship date in busy times. Large orders make take a bit longer.
Occasionally, we may be away from our workshop for a period of time that could delay filling of orders. We will make note of these absences or delays on our website home page.
All shipping from Rail-Scale-Models is done through the US Postal Service (USPS).
Per request, we can consider other shipping carriers, but there may be additional shipping costs.
Please provide a correct email address with your order, and you will receive automatic email notification when your order is shipped, which will include the USPS tracking number.
You can enter that tracking number to the USPS website to see shipping progress: www.usps.com
All international orders (outside of the U.S.) are shipped via the US Postal International Service.
We cannot track packages once they leave the US Postal Service. You'll need to contact your Postal System Customs Office to track inbound packages. Use the US Postal Tracking Number as the reference number.
If there is a need to return a product, please contact us with a message through the "Contact Us" page before shipping the item(s) back. If there is something we can do to resolve an issue before shipping the item(s) back, let's try to do that first.
Returns within 30 days of shipment date will be eligible for refund; some items may incur a 15% re-stocking fee.
Original shipping fees and return shipping fees will be the responsibility of the buyer.
