2 Charles Street --- Based on the high-rise brick structure located at that address in Boston MA.
The prototype of this structure is located in Boston MA, at 2 Charles Street. This model is compressed in size but gives the same flavor and shows many of the same elements of the brick and concrete details.
For those that know Boston, this structure is located just across the street from the famous "Make Way for Ducklings" scene... a popular tourist spot in Boston.
Don't have space for the full structure, take advantage of the option of a background flat... that just includes the full front wall at about a 1" depth on either side.
The model depicts the arched window and door details of the street level portion of the structure and includes 5 floors above that. It is narrowed a bit in both directions but can still be an impressive structure in your city scene. Review the detailed brick and concrete work in the photos above... matching the prototype details. The brick walls are laser-scribed RC Board laminated to a sub-wall. The roof assembly includes a knee wall along the front wall and includes a sheet of eave supports to accent the top level. Includes Tichy castings for a chimney and exhaust pipe. Kit includes a narrow base for the structure that includes laser-scribed concrete sidewalk details on the front side.

As this is a special edition kit, there are no detailed assembly instructions included, but there are a few notes to tackle a few key important assembly notes.
However, you'll find the structure goes together quite easily - with tab & slot assembly around corners and to the base. Windows and doors fit into sub-wall openings from the backside and set against back of the brick-scribed walls. Kit includes stripwood and corner gussets for interior bracing - to hold everything firmly in place.
This kit will only be cut per order, so plan for a 2-3 week lead-time for receipt after order.
