Newly Released... Durham's Tool & Die Company is now available.
Durham's Tool & Die Co is a plastic-injection molded structure kit with laser-cut and hydrocal-cast details and components.
This structure kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the acquisition of the Railway Design Associates structure kit business.
The Durham's Tool & Die Co structure depicts a large wood clapboard-sided mill building that houses an industrial operation that can fit any timeframe from the late 19th century to the late 20th century. Labeled as a tool & die shop, the structure can house that industry or any other industry the meets the needs of your railroad. This detailed structure kit is produced from injection-molded styrene components for the two structures shown, and contains easy-to-follow detailed assembly instructions. All walls and roof pieces are injection-molded components, and there is a long list of special detail components included in this kit - to detail both the structure and the scene.
Detail components include:
> Specially-designed laser-cut windows, doors, and freight doors - newly designed and offered just for this structure kit.
> Hydrocal-cast brick chimney.
> Hydrocal-cast water tank assembly and details.
> Hydrocal-cast stone freight dock.
> Hydrocal-cast staircase.
> Injection-molded details sprue with roof exhausts, chimneys, barrles, crates, concrete dock assembly, staircases, boiler assembly, and more.
> Printed signage and stripwood to create roof-top sign.
> Exterior lamps.
