Laser-Cut Stencil.
Here's a variation of this popular stencil for use on a sign or side of a structure in a waterfront area... the SLOW NO WAKE ZONE stencil.
This stencil packet includes two (2) each of two (2) sizes of the stencil - scale 10' wide x 76" high, and 6' wide x 52" high. Paint through the stencil to mark lettering on your desired surface. (note, dimensions are at the perimeter of the lettering.)
Stencil is laser-cut into heavy manila paper, so it should hold up well for multiple uses. Use a "painter's tape" to mask around stencil onto your structure surface. Get a tight fit up against your structure surface and use either a "stippling" technique with a brush or a spray paint technique from a distance straight onto the stencil. Try a practice piece to test your technique.
