Rail-Scale-Models now provides Corrugated Roofing Strips.
These Corrugated Roofing Strips are available in two (2) different colors, and three (3) different scale widths: > Neutral Beige color - allowing modeler to paint to desired base color and weathering/aging effects. > Gray Metalic color - simulating galvanized metal as base color, and allowing modeler to add weathering/aging details. > Scale 6' width - allowing modeler to cut strips to desired panel width at a scale 6' height. > Scale 8' width - allowing modeler to cut strips to desired panel width at a scale 8' height. > Scale 10' width - allowing modeler to cut strips to desired panel width at a scale 10' height.
Each strip is approximately 5.0" in length, and there are eight (8) strips per packet. Strips are produced in heavy paper - giving a great base material to work with for prepping to size, painting, and applying to scale model.
To apply to scale model, cut strips to desired width; pre-paint with desired base color (on both sides to seal product) and/or weathering effects; apply to structure with c/a superglue, tacky glue, or double-sided transfer tape; and finish with final weathering/aging effects.
