Lumber Stacks.
This item represents a stack of rough-cut lumber. Typically, rough-cut lumber comes from a sawmill and is ready to be dried in a kiln. Pieces of lumber have yet to be cut to size or graded, so you'll see a stack of similar thickness but variable widths and lengths.
This kit includes two (2) sheets approximately 12" long x 6" wide on 1/16" basswood - simulating ~3" wide lumber at ~10' lengths. It includes enough material to create two (2) four foot (4') tall lumber stacks. Modeler may create 3-6 shorter stacks with materials included. Each "layer" is a unique configuration, and several "layers" include pre-cut lines in which a center section may be removed to create a "hollow" center - to allow additional weight to be added to the stack to use as a freight car load on a flat car or gondola.
Use own scale 4"x4" stripwood to use as stack risers and banding around the sides.
