These shingles where generally installed as you see in the photo; three rows of the square cut and then three rows of the fish scale shingles. This alternated going up the roof. Our Slate Grey is recommended to simulate real slate.
Sheets of Fish Scale Slate Style shingles a pre-colored self-adhesive stock. There is only the Fish Scale shingles on this sheet. Shingles come on two sheets to a package. The strips are permanent self-adhesive or non-adhesive backing, just peel and stick, real easy to install. The tabs are uniformly cut just like the real ones. With a light painting of alcohol/India ink solution the shingles take on a nice aged appearance, a little more, more aging, it's all up to you. Check the photo at top, half is stained the other half is not.
Shingles are laser cut from a heavy wood fiber content paper and resemble wood, slate or asphalt shingles very well.
There are two sheets (4.25 x 12 inches) in each package. Allowing for a 50% overlap of strips there is approx. 45 square inches of coverage per package.
