Pete's Boat & Bait Shop is a laser-cut craftsman kit.
This craftsman kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the recent acquisition of the Rusty Stumps Scale Models laser-cut craftsman kit business.
Pete's Boat & Bait Shop is a simple waterfront structure supplying small boats, boat maintenance items, boat accessories, and a variety of fishing bait for the sea-bound locals. The structure is a 2-story building that includes interior details such as a staircase, hand railings, support posts, and second story floor. With open freight doors and windows, a detailed interior will really make this model stand out on your layout. The floors include access holes for adding wiring for interior lighting (however, a lighting package is not included with the kit).
The standard assembly includes a stone foundation. If the modeler prefers to set the structure on a dock or wharf, simply exclude that part of the build and set it directly on a dock location. The building is also flexible enough to be used as a different industry – such as a machine shop, auto repair facility, or a small manufacturing facility.
Included with the kit is a collection of custom-designed 3D printed and resin cast details, such as the I-beam chain & crane, several small boats and oars, outboard motors, and general shop castings like air tanks, compressors, drums, and barrels.
