The Roof-Top HVAC System is a 3D-printed / resin-cast detail assembly kit.
This detail kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the acquisition of the Rusty Stumps Scale Models laser-cut craftsman kit business.
Included in this kit are all the components need to build the HVAC unit layout as shown in the photo. Follow the assembly instructions for the standard layout, or make variations as you like.
Kit includes the large HVAC unit, all fittings, and all styrene tubing. Cut tubing to dimensions on the instruction sheet diagram or modify lengths to fit your structure roof-top space. There are angle styrene strips also included to create support brackets for the ductwork. The system can be placed on the roof of an industrial building, light industry building, or office building.
As for the history of this cool little detail kit, it was originally designed and produced in partnership between MicroMimesis and Rusty Stumps Scale Models (RSSM). In 2019, Rail-Scale-Models obtained the rights to package and sell this detail kit, although design rights remain property of MicroMimesis and Rusty Stumps Scale Models.
NOTE: Figures, vehicles, ground scenery, railroad track, and general diorama construction materials shown in model photos are not included in the kit. Pictures shown are of the pilot model construction; production models might vary slightly.
