Saladino's Mill is modeled from a prototype structure that stands on Long Island in New York. In past days it served as a wind-powered rolling mill - today it stands aged and weathered, mostly as a tourist interest. The unique structure will look great along a waterway on your layout, or in an open field - modeling a light-duty industry that can be rail-served or truck-served. The detached garage may be placed in any configuration adjacent to the mill. There are lots of extra details included with this kit - both laser-cut details such as fencing and ladders, as well as cast detail items like barrels, pallets, and the stack of sacks.
Footprint: Mill: 3-3/4" x 4-3/4" Garage: 1-1/2" x 3-1/8"
Kit includes components for 2 structures: laser-cut walls, cupola, roofs, floor, shake shingles, wind mill assembly, & freight doors; Tichy windows & details; collection of metal detail castings; laser-cut fencing & ladders; stripwood.
Special thanks to Frank Saladino for his superb craftsmanship building up the test build of the mill in N scale.
