The Stone Roundhouse Stall Expansion Kit is a plastic-injection molded structure kit, intended to be integrated with kit RSM-P4006, The Stone Roundhouse.
The Stone Roundhouse structure kit (RSM-P4006) depicts a small 3-bay steam engine roundhouse service facility found in a variety of locations across the country – including Atlanta GA and Chicago IL. Modeled of a cut stone structure, it can add unique character to your layout. The base structure kit includes components to build a 3-bay roundhouse.
The Stone Roundhouse Expansion Kit is a stall-by-stall expansion pack that includes all the components to simply "drop in" an additional stall to the roundhouse structure. Need a 4-bay roundhouse, purchase a single expansion kit; need an 8-bay roundhouse, purchase five (5) expansion kits.
The roundhouse kit has been completely refreshed within the Rail-Scale-Models product line. It comes with the traditional injection-molded stone wall components and details sprue, and now includes a brand new set of laser-cut components for the floor assembly, roof cards and seam overlays, window and door assemblies, and pre-cut acetate window glazing. Each expansion kit includes all components required for a single, additional stall that integrates into the larger roundhouse structure assembly.
