The Wall-Mounted Exhaust System is a newly designed set of 3D-printed / resin-cast components to make up this detail assembly kit.
This new Exhaust System kit is a collaboration between Rusty Stumps Scale Models and Rail-Scale-Models with the intent to offer another interesting industrial detail kit for scale structures.
The Exhaust System kit incudes a small set of components to build up the mechanical system as shown, however, the exact configuration may be modified to fit your wall structure. There are enough fittings and ductwork piping to provide flexibility of the system layout. Follow the assembly instructions for the standard layout, or make variations as you like.
Kit includes one exhaust casting, 45-degree, 90-degree, & straight fittings, and styrene tubing. Cut tubing to length as described in the instructions or modify lengths to fit your structure wall. Square tubing represents approximately 16" ductwork in HO scale.
Kit includes a small sheet of laser-etched brick to use as a "window brick fill" where the exhaust system enters the structure. Cut to size as needed, paint to desired brick color with primer gray and red acrylics, fill mortar lines with desired method, and attach to structure as part of the exhaust system assembly.
