The I.O.O.F Lodge Hall is a laser-cut craftsman kit.
This craftsman kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the recent acquisition of the Rusty Stumps Scale Models laser-cut craftsman kit business.
The I.O.O.F. Lodge Hall is one of six kits in the Kelley's Landing Series.
The Lodge Hall is a commanding structure that stands out on the main street at Kelley's Landing. The building stands a full three stories high and is topped with a flag pole. Built of wood clapboard siding, the Lodge Hall is a typical design used across the U.S. in many small to medium sized towns and cities. With commercial space on the first floor, offices on the second, and a large meeting space on the third, this is a social center for the local community.
A pool hall, card room, and saloon occupy the commercial space on the first floor - a common meeting place for the gentry of the waterfront. The second floor has the lodge offices and rental offices for local folks such as attorneys, bail bonds man, etc. The third floor consists of a large meeting hall with high ceilings and a kitchen area. This space is used commonly by the I.O.O.F. for its meetings, but also is rented out to other organizations in the area.
Make the Lodge Hall a prominent building on your waterfront or main street setting. This structure is typical of turn-of-the-century America and was found in many small towns and cities across the country.
