Nick's Flop House ~ HO Scale

Nick's Flop House is a laser-cut craftsman kit.

This craftsman kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the recent acquisition of the Rusty Stumps Scale Models laser-cut craftsman kit business.

Nick's Flop House is sort of a rambling late 1800's, early 1900's type building.  There are rooms to let on the second floor with two commercial units for rent on the first.  Upper level tenants reach the second floor via the exterior staircase located along the left-hand side of the building and along the upper-level porch.  Lower level business tenants have entrances on both the front and rear of the building.  The Flop House could abut a building on its right side, and there are no windows on that wall.  There are two brick chimneys within each rentable area having a small coal fired stove for both heat and cooking purposes.

• Laser-cut 1/32" plywood sub-walls with tab & slot construction.
• Laser-cut 1/64" high-density self-adhesive RC Board laser cut finished walls with clapboard detailing.
• Two story structure with interior floors.
• First and second floor interior walls with interior door openings.
• Interior walls may be installed into the assembly or may be omitted - not affecting the integrity of the structure.
• Interior decoration and details such as lighting may be added, but are not provided in the kit.
• Laser cut stair stringers in basswood along with the resin Stair Jig for easy staircase construction.
• Scale stripwood;  second floor porch, stairs, railings, and walk ways built from scale stripwood.
• Laser-cut 1/64" high-density self-adhesive RC-Board windows and doors.
• Acetate window glazing.
• Ample supply of decals and signs - including a selection of building signs in various colors.
• Self-adhesive tarpaper roofing material.
• Laser-cut sidewalks with manhole covers.
• Collection of fine detail resing castings specially designed for this kit - including brick chimneys.
• Comprehensive 111-page instruction manual with lots of “how-to” photos.

Model/Scene footprint:  44’ x 55’ ~ 6” wide x 7.5" deep in HO scale.
