Here is yet another item to dress out your scratch built or kit bashed warehouse, freight depot or industrial building. The sheet contains four (4) fancy panel freight doors for an scale 6' wide x 8' high opening or 13/16" wide x 1-1/16" high real world dimension.
Also two (2) 10' wide by 8' high door for that extra wide opening. 1-5/16" wide by 1-1/16" high real world dimensions.
The doors are two part and come attached as a single sheet but are easily split down the center score line to either make single doors or to have one door open.
The frames are to be glued on top of the scribed door panels. The doors are an approximate 1-1/2" thick in S scale when two parts are laminated together.
NOTE ON MATERIALS: We now offer a choice between CARDSTOCK, or RCBOARD.
CARDSTOCK has a smooth finish and is real stable. Does well with paints but you need to be careful when painting thin mullions. Click here to read the Q&A concerning the cardstock material. CardStock Only available with Self-Adhesive backing.
RCBOARD is a plastic impregnated cardstock and is both durable and easy to paint. RCBoard works well with thin mullions but otherwise is very simular to our cardstock material. Excessive wetness can warp this board. Only available with Self-Adhesive backing.
