The Silver Plume Mercantile Store is a laser-cut craftsman kit.
This craftsman kit comes into the Rail-Scale-Models product line-up as part of the recent acquisition of the Rusty Stumps Scale Models laser-cut craftsman kit business.
The Mercantile Store is an HO rendition of the Silver Plume Store built in Silver Plume Colorado around 1890. This small storefront structure will be a nice addition to your layout – whether it’s a western theme or any small town located throughout North America.
This laser-cut kit is easy to assembly but offers interesting modeling techniques. The interior is empty but could easily be detailed with counters and cabinets to represent just about any kind of store that fits your need. The structure has a small footprint (2" wide x 4" deep), so it will fit in just about any place. All you'll need is some paint, glue, and a few evenings to assemble.
Included is a collection of fine scale resin castings... to detail inside and outside of your structure kit. The assembly instruction manual is completely refreshed as are the laser-engraved / laser-cut structure components.
Model/Scene footprint: ~ 2” wide x 4.25" deep in HO scale.
